IDUNN

A social cooking club for women in Dubai.

It started with a question.

What does a woman actually need to thrive?

We’re surrounded by advice about what women should eat. But the more I learned about women’s health, the more I started to wonder:

How much of what we know about nutrition and health is actually based on research into the female body?

That question sent me down a rabbit hole — into female physiology and research revealing that some of what we thought we knew about health may not apply to women in the same way.

I wanted to find a way to turn that knowledge into something practical, enjoyable and delicious.

Why IDUNN?

Growing up in Denmark, I’ve always had a soft spot for the old stories of the North.

In Norse mythology, Iðunn is the keeper of the golden apples that renew the gods and goddesses and preserve their vitality.

I love the idea of her as a guardian of nourishment — knowing what nourishes us and bringing it to the table.

That is the spirit behind IDUNN.

Not chasing youth.
But learning how to nourish the body we want to live in for a very long time.

The philosophy of IDUNN Cooking Club

Female first.
Women’s bodies change throughout life. We explore nutrition through a female lens, guided by current research and experts who are helping us understand women more specifically.
Real food, beautifully cooked.
Because knowing what’s good for you is much more useful when you know how to make it delicious.
Health is also who you eat with.
Good food, laughter, conversation and connection are all part of a life well lived.
Leave renewed.
Come for the food. Stay for the conversation. Leave with something new.
Leave a little more nourished than you arrived.
Come for the food. Stay for the conversations.
